Each BMP manufacturing facility adheres to the same key business principles and work practices to maximize efficiency and overall quality:
- Vertical Integration: Our Technical Textile and Engineered Elastomer materials are manufactured either within the BMP Division or the by other Andrew Group companies in North America, Europe and Asia.
- Bespoke Machinery: Many of our processes demand specialist equipment and machinery to be used. Our own design engineers specify exactly what is required and work closely with outside contractors to ensure we install the very latest most efficient equipment.
- Cellular Manufacturing: By grouping similar products for manufacture within discreet multi-machine units, we achieve faster production cycles, reduced lead times, enhanced product quality and lower unit costs.
- Self-Directed Teams: To maximize our employees' personal investment in the quality of every product, each functional manufacturing area is planned, directed and controlled by operator-centered teams.
