Through its ongoing diversification into Precision Moulded Elastomers, BMP has recently developed a range of polyurethane products for use in wind turbines.
Working in close partnership with one of its key customers, BMP has enhanced an existing critical to function elastomer turbine component improving both product performance and reducing cost. BMP's global manufacturing footprint coupled with its expertise in "Open Cast" Polyurethane moulding facilitated the development of a long term strategic supply partnership with a leading wind turbine manufacturer.
In order to support BMP's growing activity in the renewable energy sector, production of custom polyurethane mouldings will be carried out at BMP's manufacturing facilities in UK, Mexico and China.

This environmental commitment is clearly demonstrated by BMP's innovative recycling and remanufacturing programmes on many of the products that are produced for multi-national original equipment manufacturers.
