BMP initially started out by manufacturing and converting technical non-woven textile parts for use in photocopiers and fax machines. With the advent of new competing technologies we then began to make products for laser and ink jet printing equipment and through this development added engineered polyurethanes to our list of core competences.
Although the Digital Print and Office Automation sector is still our core business we have also diversified into Litho and Offset Printing and Screen Printing sectors by providing innovative products such as our Everclean automated web cleaning blankets and Flowprint squeegee blades.
The Industrial and Home Appliance markets are proving to be a big growth area with BMP manufacturing and converting a range of non-woven felt seals / gaskets and polyurethane elastomer wheels for use in washing machines, dryers and dish washers, ovens and fridges etc.
BMP's specialist application knowledge in the use of high density heat resistant needle felts opened the doors to additional niche industrial market sectors, Aluminium Extrusion and Smelting and general Metal Processing. BMP manufactures and converts a range of non-woven textiles used on extrusion line conveying systems.
Our most recent diversification has taken us into the environmental sector with an exciting polyurethane application used in wind turbines.
BMP is now actively pursuing new product developments related to industrial textiles and polyurethanes in the Transport and Medical sectors.
