BMP America Inc Factory Expansion

Below is an extract of the newspaper article outlining the recently completed expansion to the BMP America Inc. facility.

BMP America Incorporated, an Andrew Industries Group Company, has just completed a 40,000 square foot expansion at its headquarter location in Medina, New York.

BMP America designs and manufactures engineered textile related products and assemblies for various market applications including business machines, commercial appliances and aluminum extrusion handling equipment.

The $2.0 million expansion has essentially doubled the size of the operation and will enable BMP America to consolidate Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, Engineering and Administration at one location.  BMP has experienced significant growth over the past several years and with it diversification strategy anticipates further growth.   Over 125 people are employed on site.

In addition to BMP America, the BMP Division is made up of two other operating companies, BMP Europe near Manchester England and BMP Asia in China having two locations in Shenzhen and Shanghai.  Additionally, BMP has a technical sales office in Singapore.  The three companies work closely to support their OEM customers located around the world.

Upon announcing the expansion plans, Mr. E.D. Andrew, Chairman of the Board and Owner of Andrew Industries was quoted as saying:

BMP America President Peter A. Milicia stated:

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday October 19, 2005.
