BMP Division increases its investment in China

The BMP Division of Andrew Industries is pleased to announce its continued expansion in China with the establishment of two new factories.
BMP Asia Industries (Shenzhen) Company Ltd will be the second investment in China by the BMP Division but is the first 100% owned "WFOE" (Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise). The first investment, Griffin Industries Ltd established in 1997, is a JV also based in Shenzhen.
Due to the success of our existing operations and the move to China by many of our major OEM customers the timing is now right for this expansion.
BMP Asia's new 6000msq factory will be complete and fully operational by September 2004. It will provide low cost purchasing / tooling / assembly and specialist contract manufacturing opportunities for the BMP Division group companies and will service our Asia Pacific region customer base.

In an effort to provide the best support possible for our customers in Asia we will shortly establish a subsidiary company in Shanghai, BMP Asia Industries (Shanghai).
This 2500msq facility will be complete and fully operational during the 1st quarter 2005.
Both of these manufacturing facilities will be supported by our sales and marketing office in Singapore. We are currently setting up sales representative offices in both Shenzhen and Shanghia to further strengthen our overall service to our customers in both these regions.
