Is a cable protection system, used for sub sea and sub marine cable protection. It is utilised when additional protection is required, such as touchdown points and rocky terrain. The unique half shell design incorporates a self-locating interlock system, for faster assembly on deck. ProShell can be produced in a range of internal diameters, thicknesses and densities, according to client specification.
Our bend stiffeners are designed to add local stiffness to cables and umbilicals at the connection point to a rigid structure, and thereby limit bending stresses and excessive curvature. The bend restrictors are static or dynamic, and incorporate the integral steelwork necessary for interfacing with the clients connecting structure.
Bend restictors comprise of an interlocking vertebrae system, which prevents the overbending of cables or umbilicals, due to a specified 'lock up radius, and maximum load bearing capacity. They are employed at touchdown points, especially important in areas of excessive currents, and other areas of rough terrain, such as a rocky seabed.
Seabed protection mats provide protection and stabilisation to cables lying on the seabed. Manufactured from a high density marine grade PU system, in a range of sizes it is employed at cable intersection points, and over areas of rough terrain.
J-Tube seals provides a permanent seal between the J-Tube and a newly installed cable/umbilical. It provides an annulus, which can be treated with a corrosion inhibitor.
Are utilised when smaller secondary cables or pipelines require support when attached to a main pipeline. The clamp comprises of a saddle moulded from polyurethane, with an axial split to encompass the ancillary pipes.
